Our transparent and semi-transparent photovoltaic glazing improves comfort in all seasons, reduces energy use, and lowers a building’s operating costs. We work closely with facade engineers and glazing integrators to develop and market our glass solutions.

Production facilities close to our end customers

Our transparent photovoltaic glass production line will open in 2017 in the southern French town of Rousset. Initial output will be 30,000 m² a year, but with a production capacity of up to 150,000 m², the facility is poised to respond quickly to fast-growing demand for BIPVs and support the launch of our solutions in other countries across Europe.
We anticipate that we’ll be producing 200,000 m² of BIPVS to supply the European market. To serve markets in Asia, the Americas, and Africa, we will partner with local manufactures located close to end customers.
Sunpartner is on track to be worth an estimated $3.5 billion by 2020 and well positioned to meet growing global demand for building-integrated photovoltaic glass (source: n-tech research).
On the other hand, the global smart windows market revenue is estimated at $6.5 billion by 2020.
To manufacture our transparent photovoltaic glass solutions, we use high-performance materials such as copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS). Germany-based AVANCIS is our preferred partner for CIGS modules.

Design-Glass is compatible with various types of glass (different thicknesses, sizes, functional treatments), which means it can be used for every kind of glazing: windows, facades, brise-soleils, railings, and more.
Our solutions provide outstanding flexibility in terms of design and transparency (from 10 to 70%) and are neutral in color to maximize natural light.
They make it easier to obtain green building certification (BREEAM, LEEDS, HQE, etc.) without impacting building architecture and help reduce energy bills (air conditioning, sun protection, etc.) for end users.

Truly transparent solar glass for autonomous smart windows

Vision-Glass is compatible with various types of glass (different thicknesses, sizes, functional treatments) and stands out for its superior transparency and low-profile photovoltaic cells.
Invisible and neutral in color, Vision-Glass components can produce up to 50 Wp/m² of electricity, depending on the degree of transparency.
Vision-Glass can be used to power built-in smart window features such as dimming, sensors, and wireless communication systems.
With no electric wiring to install, our standalone solutions make a great choice for building retrofits.

The aesthetic and customizable solar solution that brings building envelopes to life

Wysips® Cameleon transforms the opaque sections of the building envelope into an active surface by integrating the solar cells into any part of the facade or cladding. With a wide range of textures, , and colors, these photovoltaic modules combine aesthetics and performance – architectural design no longer has to be sacrificed for energy efficiency and functionality.
Cameleon technology generates 80 to 95% of the power of conventional photovoltaic panels with a yield of 90 to 120 Wp / m² depending on the chosen design.
